Formby Photo Group For Film and Digital Enthusiasts
|
|
Sorry to announce some very sad news, Allan Waplington, our Chairman, died suddenly on Sunday 11th May whilst on a family holiday in Derbyshire.
Allan, a retired headmaster, was also a very active member of St Luke's Church. He was always willing to get involved and help others in any way he could. He has been a member of the Formby Photo Group for over twenty years, becoming Chairman three years ago. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Our Deepest sympathy goes out to Allan's family.

Print battle results
Sandy Pownall gained 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall with 'Poppies' 'Warehouse Window' & 'Homage to Vermeer'. Brian Young's 'Gerbera' reached all but the last round. Soph Photiou's prints also reached the middle rounds - all contributing those vital points making us the winners on the night.
