Congratulations to Maghull for winning our Inter-club print battle.
The results were: 1st Maghull with 41 points; 2nd Crosby with 35 points; 3rd Formby with 34 points; 4th Ormskirk with 30 points.
Many thanks to judge Gordon Jenkins, his sense of humour and constructive print assessments, made the evening a very entertaining and enjoyable one. Thanks also to Crosby for organising the event and Christine our Vice Chair for providing the excellent refreshments.

Many thanks to Tony Redford for judging our 2009 Annual. All members were impressed with Tony's constructive comments and we all enjoyed his gentle humour and good natured critique. Thanks to Christine for organising the refreshments and for all members who put in entries. It was a very enjoyable evening.

The Group was formed in 1970 and throughout has continued to help people with varying degrees of experience in the art of photography. We embrace all forms of photography; film, slide & digital so whatever is your forte there is something for you.
The Group’s programme of meetings cover hands-on practical demonstrations, tutorials, presentations from guest speakers on a wide variety of photographic subjects and arranged visits to places of interest.
The Groups equipment is available for use by all its members, including a ‘stand only’ ink jet printer.
Interested? Then why not come along to one of our meetings. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced photographer you will be made most welcome and be sure to have an enjoyable evening amongst friends. There is a nominal visitor’s charge of £1. We are affiliated to the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU). Which gives us the opportunity to broaden our horizons to the whole range of skills and expertise that these clubs can offer.
