Crosby Camera Club is pleased to be hosting the North Mersey Inter Club Print Challenge 2018, and would like to invite our Club to this event.

It will take place at Crosby Library, Crosby Road North Liverpool L22 OLQ.

Location and parking for Crosby Camera Club

The date is March 7th 2018 starting at 8:00pm (Doors open 7:40pm) The Judge on the night will be Janice Barton CPAGB BPE3

The competition caters for both colour and black and white (mono) prints. Participating clubs may enter ten prints with no more than two per club member; images which have been used in previous competitions must not be re-entered.

Our club is allowed to enter up to 10 prints. They can be Mono or Colour (No DPIs). There is no specific theme and no limit on the age of the photo so if you have up to 4 photos that you would like considered for entry, please bring them along to our next club night on 1st Feb or as a last resort. They must not have been entered in an Inter-club competition before but it's OK if they've only been in an FPG competition.

The committee will need to select/finalise and submit our club's 10 entries by 23rd Feb.

All prints must be presented on board which measures 50 x 40 cm, although the actual print may be of any size. Each print must have a label affixed to the top, right-hand side of the rear of the mount – showing the name of the entering club and the title of the print on it.

It is not compulsory for entrants to attend the competition night in person but it will be a great opportunity to see and hear another judge in action and learn a bit more about what makes a winning photo. Non entrants are also welcome to attend. I for one, learned a few useful things from our externally judged competition last Thursday.
